More ear piercings means there's more room for Diamonds!

Diamond flower clip earrings, Cartier, 1960's.

One of my favorite types of antique earrings: these were normally done in gold, and then topped in silver, hence why we see the darkened metal around the diamonds. These diamond cluster earring are from the late 19th century.

A demi parure of diamond and enamel jewelry, 1860's.

Gold and diamond ball ear clips, circa 1860.

Gold and seed pearl pendant earrings, mid 19th century.

Platinum and diamond bow earrings with large oriental pearl drops. Made by Verdura in 1988.

Simple pearl and diamond earrings in platinum.

Quartz and paste pendant earrings, mid 18th century, probably Iberian.

There is just something irresistible about colored stone and diamond cluster earrings, even though the design is so simple. These are Russian made, early 20th century.

Totally awesome, large clip on earrings, made of diamonds, cabochon sapphires, gold and silver, by JAR, Paris.
