Queen Elizabeth II's diamond kokoshnik tiara. It was originally a gift to Queen Alexandra, meant to match a kokoshnik tiara that her sister, the Empress Marie Fedorovna of Russia, owned. It originally had more diamond bars on the tiara, but something like a dozen or more of them have been removed by the present Queen.

More Aigrettes!

 A sort of aigrette/bandeau tiara in the form of two feathers tied together with a diamond bow.

 A classical-looking diamond tiara with a large diamond feather, which is detachable, coming out of the center. This is in stark contrast to natural feathers, which were very popular to wear in the hair during the 1920's.

What I think has to be the cutest tiara in all of God's creation, a diamond owl wearing a little ducal tiara, and a collar with a chain, to make sure he doesn't fly off of the tiara frame.

 Aigrette Tiaras are pieces that have a central element that stands far out above the rest of the design, or in some cases, there is only one element in the middle with no surrounding design.
